The Active/40 loudspeakers are part of Paradigm's Reference line and stem from the company’s passive Studio/40 design. However, the Active/40 shouldn’t be thought of as simply a Studio/40 with some amps thrown in. This is quite a different speaker, although cosmetically the two look very similar.

Paradigm Studio 40 V2 , The V2 was considered by many to be the best of the 40 with better build and bracing . Need to make space and therefore these have to go. Also have the Paradigm original stands for it, sell speakers and stands together for $690. Would prefer to sell them together but willing to separate stands and speakers if there is

Paradigm Studio 60 V2 Specifications For a taste of nostalgia, here is the Stereophile review of the original Studio 100. Studio 60 v2's were my first real speakers. can't say i ever loved them,. In fact, the first components I bought specifically for what is now my multichannel system were Paradigm Esprit/BP speakers, which had impressed me at a Stereophile show. When I took the step into multichannel and found that there wasn't a matching center-channel speaker for the Esprits, I replaced them with Paradigm's Reference Studio/60 v.2s.
